Half a mile of asphalt, 50+ mph karts, an hour from Nashville.
|
Welcome |
|
|
|
| Marcus, you will leave here with a number. |
| That is the part most people do not expect. Every lap you drive is timed to the thousandth of a second, scored against everyone else out that day, and put on a wall. You go home with a time, and then you spend the next fortnight thinking about the corner you got wrong. |
| Music City Kartplex is a half-mile outdoor circuit on 34 acres in Shelbyville, about an hour southeast of downtown Nashville. 11 turns, 50+ mph Italian karts. It is a real race track, not an entertainment centre with karts in it, and that difference is why people drive an hour to get here. |
| Three ways to race |
| • |
Arrive and drive. No kart, no gear, no experience. Book a session, we hand you a helmet. This is where nearly everyone starts. |
| • |
Leagues. Four-week seasons, wheel to wheel, real championship points. Still no kart needed. |
| • |
Own a kart. 19 classes from Kid Karts at five years old to 125cc shifters. Tennessee's only NKA-sanctioned outdoor championship runs here. |
